Dana is the Director of Building Envelope in Walker Consultant’s Princeton, New Jersey office. She has more fifteen years of experience in building enclosure consulting, commissioning, peer review services, facade assessments, and hygrothermal analysis of various facade systems. She also works in the development of repair and rehabilitation documents, conducts water leakage investigations, performs building envelope testing including infrared thermography, and provides construction observation services. She regularly performs evaluations of all aspects of the building envelope including waterproofing, exterior facades (e.g., fenestration, glass and glazing, masonry, terra cotta, limestone, concrete, EIFS, and metal panels), and roofing. Much of her work in recent years has involved prefabricated and unitized envelope assemblies.
This presentation is intended to provide an introduction to Building Enclosure Commissioning, including a description of current standards, an overview of the process and typical activities, and options for performance testing.
