Architectural Designer (2–10 Years Experience)

Gnome Architects is an award-winning, Philadelphia-based architecture and interior design practice specializing in high-end residential projects. We are seeking a full-time Architectural Designer with 2–10 years of professional experience to join our team. This position offers exposure to all phases of design and project delivery, with the opportunity to work on unique projects from concept to completion.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project leaders on the design and technical development of residential projects.
• Prepare high-quality presentation materials, renderings, and visualizations for client meetings.
• Independently perform a variety of design tasks across all project phases, collaborating with colleagues and consultants.
• Support construction administration efforts, including reviewing submittals and visiting job sites.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines, budgets and maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program.
• 2–10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in residential design and light wood-frame construction (preferred, not required).
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape.
• Strong design sensibility, graphic skills, and rendering abilities.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a studio environment.
• Interior design experience highly valued.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.

Additional Information
