Join the Housing Committee on a site tour on June 28th!
This program will include an on-site tour of an affordable housing project that is under-construction in Philadelphia. The building is being constructed with some uncommon types of prefabricated elements, including prefabricated floor panels, wall panels, and MEP “pods”.

1. Learn about the design and construction of modern affordable housing in Philadelphia
2. Learn about design/constr. implications of factory fabr. walls, floors, mech. pods
3. Observe the interface and detailing between prefab. and site-fab. elements
4. Learn about implementation of newer sustainable design features and programs in affordable housing, such as Zero Energy Ready Homes
