Project Architect

We are actively seeking experienced Project Architects that are well-versed in using Revit. Are you looking for a change of pace? A firm where you can make your mark? A wide variety of project types? If so, then CWA is a place for you. 

Our firm is a small firm (12-15pp) located just outside the city limits in Bala Cynwyd, PA. We have a wide variety of projects that are mostly locally based. We provide unique solutions to every project. And we recently won an AIA Philadelphia Design Award for the 5^th Street Independence Hall subway renovation project. Our current projects include state park office and visitor's centers, local train stations, regional headquarters, technical projects (windows, doors, roofs) at City multi-building campuses, senior living, church restorations and single-family homes. Our projects have a wide variety of construction types, sustainability goals and historic components.

Applicant must be able to produce a set of documents, oversee junior team members, juggle multiple projects and be able to draft details. Proficiency with Revit is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external teams
• Conduct consultant meetings
• Design and documents construction documents
• Act as primary point of contact for all technical issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent experience
• 6+ years related experience
• Proficiency in Revit
• Ability to juggle multiple projects while prioritizing deadlines
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Strong technical expertise related to design and construction
• Registration is a bonus.
