O Z Collaborative Marketing Director 

Overview: 

O Z Collaborative  is a full-service architectural design firm located in Philadelphia that works with a diverse list of clients and project types.  OZC is seeking to hire a full-time, in-person Marketing Director to work directly with the senior staff and assist with realizing the firm's growth plan through the implementation of its marketing strategies.  The Marketing Director will assist OZC  to achieve its strategic growth plan by successfully increasing the number of projects awarded to the firm across all of its building sectors.  To learn more about the work OZC does, please visit www.ozcollaborative.com

The Marketing Director's primary function is to manage the firm's marketing and communications efforts, including RFP's RFQ's, general marketing materials, digital and content marketing, public relations, advertising, website, and general all-around business development communications. 

The Marketing Director is expected to have a well-rounded knowledge and familiarity with the practice of architecture, which includes architectural vocabulary, the phasing, budgeting and scheduling of projects, regional and economic factors impacting construction trends, and familiarity with the local architectural community.  In addition, the Marketing Director position requires the candidate to have strong communication skills, writing skills, extensive knowledge and experience in business development, proposal writing, research & data gathering, and planning & executing marketing strategies.  

 

Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Develop marketing strategies with Principals for each building sector the firm works in. 
  • Maintain and build existing database with client leads and opportunities. 
  • Perform ongoing market research within various sectors to build client relationships, identify upcoming projects, assess competition, and assemble teams and partners.   
  • Assist Principals with securing and scheduling client outreach and communications via emails, phone calls and in-person meetings.  
  • Engage with architectural staff to capitalize on marketing opportunities of ongoing projects at various stages of completion.   
  • Engage with the local architectural and engineering community to understand trends, possible collaborations, and opportunities.   
  • Regular updating and maintenance of the firm's website including website designer oversight and direction. 
  • Compose, post, and distribute firm communications via social media outlets and e-blast distributions on a regular basis. 
  • Engage the firm's involvement in local and national conferences and events that raise the firm's profile and community engagement. 
  • Active participation in the development of proposals and interview presentations. 
  • Identify, prepare and submit projects for local and national award submissions and media publications. 
  • Coordinate professional photography shoots at the completion of projects. 
  • Manage, and maintain current the firm's marketing material including qualifications, project sheets, resumes, and certifications.  

 

Qualifications: 

The Marketing Director must include the following qualifications: 

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in marketing and/or Business Administration, or equivalent, and/or background in architecture engineering or interior design. 
  • 5 years of experience in a firm practicing architecture, engineering or interior design.  
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills and expertise with Microsoft Suite software 
  • Excellent graphic skills and familiarity with Adobe suite software
