Zimmerman Studio is looking for a Project Manager/Project Architect with 5-15 years of professional experience to join our team. We specialize in renovations for college and university clients, with a focus on technically-complex projects including teaching and research laboratories. Many of our clients seek us out for our ability to merge good design with technical knowledge. We are looking for someone who understands how to work with complex institutions and build relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.

We are a small, entrepreneurial firm that values teamwork as well as individual initiative, and task-oriented focus as well as a sense of humor. Everyone at ZS is involved with all aspects of architectural practice, from detailing to business development. We offer the opportunity to take a leadership role with projects and also in the firm as a whole.

We are currently working on a hybrid basis, with everyone coming to the office at least 2 days per week. We expect that we will maintain this for the foreseeable future. Our office is in the East Passyunk neighborhood of South Philadelphia, and easily accessible by public transportation. There are also many good restaurants within three blocks of the office.
