Year Established: 2015
A residential design and research practice that focuses on renovations and additions incorporating the principles of wellness, energy efficiency and low-carbon materials. Designing for transitions brought about by lifestyle changes is an important component of our architectural work. The firm is engaged in several green initiatives that are working to reverse the effects of climate change. Diverting construction waste from landfills and recognizing its role in the development of a circular economy is central to the firm's research work. Waste diversion is also critical for reducing carbon from the earth's atmosphere, protecting our communities' health and saving virgin resources. In our residential practice we promote building debris minimization, low-carbon material selection and material reuse of existing and new components and products.
