Verde Architecture Consulting meets clients’ green building needs by combining expertise in enclosure with a passion for sustainability. VERDE (green in Spanish) is an acronym for Validation of Enclosure, Responsible Design, and Envelope Architecture. Validation of Enclosure, or building envelope commissioning, affirms the design is what the owner requires. We work with the thin layer between the inside and outside of the building to manage the flow of heat, water, and vapor through this “skin.” Next, we move owners and project team members towards Responsible Design in projects, with knowledge and leadership skills honed over 15 years. Verde helps create buildings that are durable, high performance, and enhance occupant well-being using rating systems such as WELL, LEED, and RELi. Finally, we aid Envelope Architecture. With WUFI hygrothermal software, we model the physics of heat and water flow in building envelopes. If building envelopes are not well designed, they grow mold, generate leaks, and waste energy. At Verde, we are passionate, but also practical. We stand out from our competition by cost-effectively delivering exceptional service due to our expertise, custom project management tools, and excellent communication skills. Verde is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).
