Celebrating our 38th year, spg3 serves a client base of regional institutions and corporate leaders, national developers and retail innovators, community development organizations and hospitality trendsetters. As a 16 person practice, we have the necessary resources to commit all of the required design, management and experienced technical staff in support of the full range of responsibilities for Master Planning, Architecture and Mixed-use building design. Our commitment to building long-term relationships with our clients has resulted in a portfolio of successful repeat projects. Hospitality design, and especially unique urban hotels for both Marriott’s and Hilton’s new life-style and millennial flags, is an exciting portion of our expertise. spg3 is completing hotels and interiors in Philadelphia and New Orleans, redeveloping and expanding historic buildings for these new uses. In New York and Florida, we are adapting the brands’ standards and guest amenities to mixed-use settings. spg3 works with national and regional shopping center developers such as Macerich, and Madison Marquette to develop new projects and to reposition existing retail properties. spg3 provides specialty retail and food service consulting. Our experience includes roll-outs for national retailers like Luxottica and Ann Taylor. With MarketPlace Development at Philadelphia International Airport, we are the architect for the dining and shopping places in the terminals. Working for both the landlord and the tenant has given us unique expertise in understanding the impact of tenant requirements and prototypical plans on mixed-use design. In the entertainment sector, our long-term relationship as National Amusement’s architectural partner has included the design and construction of 20 multiplex theater/restaurant/performance complexes in the United States. spg3 continues to design for new exhibitors including iPic and Cinemark, bringing dining concepts to the theatre seat. Founded as a housing and institutional practice, spg3 has designed thousands of units of market rate and assisted housing for faith-based groups and public housing agencies, and for developers as part of mixed use urban projects. Committed to sustainable practices, spg3 projects include BPG’s LEED silver Continental Square in King of Prussia, PA and the first LEED silver office building in Atlantic City, NJ.
