Sandvold Blanda architecture + interiors LLC, founded in 1995, is a full service architectural and interior design practice. Neil Sandvold AIA holds Masters degree from The University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Washington University, St. Louis, and is registered in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York. He is a board member and chair emeritus of Collab,the Group for Modern and Contemporary Design at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Andrew Blanda Associate AIA holds a Masters degree from The University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Florida. Both partners are former associate professors of architecture at Drexel University. Our firms mission is to work closely with each client to create timeless modern architecture. We see design as an inclusive a process, a distillation of eclectic sources, that invoke the intangible feelings of place, and a sense of rightness of fit. We look to the thought and design of the past, to create a regional modern architecture of the present and future.We see our work in the terms that a human life may be defined: full of realized possibility, emotional richness, and the joys of the daily experience. Good design nurtures the unexpected, and gives room to the wayward idea. Our designs give life to our clients dreams and desires; it is our mission to create strong, beautiful, intellectually accessible architecture, with the power to delight.
