John Toates Architecture and Design LLC was formed in 2012 to focus on traditionally inspired unique residential and commercial projects throughout the United States and abroad. JTAD is a full service architectural design firm that offers a uniquely individualized approach to a comprehensive range of master planning, landscape, architectural and interior design services. My design philosophy is a testimony to the belief that traditional design principles applied through appropriately scaled, proportioned and detailed buildings can marry themselves seamlessly to the individualized requirements of the project location, program, family needs and a contemporary lifestyle. I approach architecture with a holistic process, providing my clients with a concierge approach to the design and construction administration services throughout the project and beyond. I received my Architectural degree Cum Laude from Syracuse University, and am registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards which enables me to work in every state. I have licenses to practice architecture in the states of Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wisconsin.
