Skanska Expands its Regional Philadelphia Office to Include New Special Projects Group Focused on Commercial Fit Outs
Skanska USA announced todaythat its building business unit, which is a leading provider of construction management, preconstruction, and design-build services, has formed Skanska Special Projects Group, a new operational group, in its regional Philadelphia office. The Special Projects Group will focus primarily on general contracting, tenant improvements, corporate and commercial interiors work and renovation projects in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Rob Cisler will lead the new Special Projects Group as project director. In his new role, Cisler will work with Skanska’s business development team to enhance the company’s presence in the greater Philadelphia area. He will also work with Skanska’s operational team to introduce a self-perform general contractor approach to all current and future projects.

Cisler joined Skanska in 2000. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, he most recently served as the senior project manager for the new Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell in Pennington, New Jersey. Prior to that, he managed renovation and tenant interiors work for numerous clients in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Cisler received a B.S. in Business Management from Penn State, and his MBA from Temple University.
