Metropolitan Acoustics welcomes Seth Harrison as a Senior Consultant and Manager of the Acoustics Group in Philadelphia. Previous to Metropolitan Acoustics, he worked as an acoustics engineer for KJWW Engineering Consultants, an architectural engineering consulting firm servicing the Greater Chicago Area and other Mid-West markets. He began his career while a mechanical engineering student at Pennsylvania State University working in the vibrations and aeroacoustics groups at GE Aviation in Cincinnati, Ohio as part of a co-operative education program. Subsequently, he studied and performed experimental research on innovative techniques for turbofan jet noise reduction at the University of Cincinnati while earning his Master of Science in Engineering Mechanics with a custom curriculum focused on acoustics and vibration. Mr. Harrison is an active member of the Acoustical Society of America and a licensed professional engineer.
