Dear Friends and Colleagues,

2011 was an amazing year. Thank you very much for allowing me to serve. Working with our dedicated board members, committee members, staff, volunteers, and leadership we were able to build on the work of previous chapter leadership as well as ensure that our chapter and the Center for Architecture continue to grow smoothly as leadership changes through the coming decade.

At midnight on December 31 ,2011, the chapter presidency quietly switched from my hands into the extremely capable hands of Keith Mock, AIA. On January 19, 2012, we are going to have a celebration of that transition with our Induction Ceremony at the Atheneaum. All AIA members are invited and welcome, so please, be there to show your support to our newest board members, our new President, Keith Mock, AIA, and our new President Elect, Bob Hsu, AIA; and to discover our 2012 Thomas U. Walter Award recipient. It’s always a great party, made better by your attendance.
