AIA Philadelphia’s Awards for Design Excellence program recognizes significant achievements by member architecture firms in planning, design, and execution of architectural projects, and promotes the public appreciation of design quality.

AIA Philadelphia is accepting entries for the 2012 Awards for Design Excellence Program. All entries are due by August 2, 2012. Submissions of all project types and scales are encouraged: large and small, built and un-built, interior and exterior, new construction and preservation. It is the Chapter's intent to recognize work that exhibits exceptional design quality and is worthy of merit. Projects will continue to not be judged in competition with each other, but rather by measuring the architect’s performance against each project’s potential. Thus, projects of modest program or budget can receive an award.
