C. Raymond Davis & Sons Celebrates its 11th Citadel Federal Credit Union Project

31 August 2012 | Member News

The Citadel Federal Credit Union, Oxford Branch, designed by Casaccio-Yu Architects of Havertown, PA, consists of the construction of a 3,900 square foot single story Branch Facility. The steel frame building includes several key customer amenities such as a two lane drive-up, a free coin machine for Citadel customers and 24-hour ATM access in an enclosed and secure area. The energetic, high-tech retail environment for financial services and products is balanced within a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The design is compatible with the Chester County architectural fabric and expresses the needs of Citadel for high quality financial services that are supportive of community. The design evokes recognition of architectural elements prevalent in the styles common to Chester County by using a fieldstone facade and standing seam roof. The fieldstone carries through from the exterior directly into the interior lobby. This 2-story lobby provides a volume to open the entire space up to a spacious and naturally lit environment. Citadel Oxford is the eleventh successful Citadel built by C. Raymond Davis most of which have won awards throughout the years.
