About the Firm
Olaya Studio is an architectural design studio that produces unique solutions for the built environment through innovative design. Since its founding in 2006, the West Philadelphia studio has been creating designs which contribute to the constantly shifting urban landscape. Our design process begins with the client. Through discussions that define the client’s wishes, needs, and desires, we establish parameters from which the design evolves. We incorporate sustainable materials, research proven methods, and the innovative technologies necessary to produce designs with the least environmental impact. Olaya Studio’s growing portfolio includes the following categories: Museums and Cultural Institutions, Multi-Unit Housing, Collegiate and Elementary Education, Community Facilities, and Recreation and Camp Facilities. Olaya Studio’s skills and experience meet our clients’ expectations with all building types including New Construction, Additions, Renovations, Adaptive Reuse, and Historic Preservation.
