About the Firm

Heritage Design Collaborative, established in 2010, is a preservation, architecture and heritage engineering design practice specializing in the restoration, adaptive reuse and rehabilitation of existing structures as well as in building diagnostics, architectural conservation, building conditions assessment and inspections, historic structures reports, interpretive planning and programming for preservation projects. HDC's partners represent over eighty years of experience in the stewardship of historic properties and buildings. We are well versed in the needs of a range of clientele; from private homeowners and independant developers to non-profit organizations, large institutions and government agencies and know how to provide this wide range of clients with the product and quality that they require. The leadership of Heritage Design Collaborative is formed by a trio of dedicated and experienced design professionals, Carl M. Dress, Leila Y. Hamroun and Richard I.
