Jan Kopple’s theme for this session is taken from Harvey McKay: “Dig Your Well Before You Are Thirsty,” and if she were to distill it to a single word, that word would be “persevere.” By the time she’s done, 60 minutes will have flown by and you will feel informed, invigorated and well-equipped to tackle new business.

Getting together with beginning and seasoned marketers to discuss client and business development is, to Jan, the most fun of all the domains. In a welcome departure from a standard lecture format, her presentation will be an interactive one, using flash cards, zippy multiple choice questions, pair matching, agree/disagree propositions, meaningful lists and shared information. There will be exercises designed to encourage all present to share their experiences and tell war—and success—stories about developing client business.

Please note that registration is in advance only (no walk-ins) and is limited to 40 people on a first-come, first-served basis.
